DESCRIPTION
Guardox™ BL is a natural bamboo leaf extract rich in flavonoids and is used as a multi-functional antioxidant flavouring for preventing lipid oxidation, decreasing the use level and residue of nitrate or nitrite colorants, antibacterial, colour retention, odour-removing and taste-modifying in various foods.

APPLICATION AREAS
Beverage (e.g. Beer, Soft drinks, Juice), Meat (Ham, Sausage, Fried chicken wings).
 
REGULATIONS
In China, Guardox™ BL can be officially recognized as a bamboo leaf antioxidant, in accordance with the approval outlined in China GB2760-2015 as a food additive (CNS 04.019). In other countries, it is legally recommended to obtain approval from local authorities before incorporating it as a food additive. It is recommended to use it after ensuring compliance with your local regulations.

ORGANE JUICE
The addition of 60mg/L Guardox™ BL can resist oxidation of orange juice by making anthocyanin stable, protecting VC, and by having good compatibility with the orange-juice system.
 
SOFT DRINKS
50mg/L Guardox™ BL can act as both an antioxidant and a nutrition intensifier in soft drinks.
 
HAM
150mg/kg Guardox™ BL can significantly inhibit lipid oxidation in ham.
 
SAUSAGE
100mg/kg Guardox™ BL can inhibit lipid oxidation and (Malondialdehyde) MDA in sausage, and the use level of nitrite and iso-ascorbate sodium can be decreased to half of the total level.
