Handary is an industrial leader in clean-label shelf-life solutions. We are seeking 2 Food Shelf-Life Specialists to join our team. The role is responsible for designing, conducting, and analyzing shelf-life studies to evaluate the stability, safety, and quality of food products with our ingredient formulation. You will provide scientific expertise to support product development, regulatory compliance, and customer requirements, ensuring products maintain desired characteristics throughout their intended shelf life.

Tasks & Responsabilities:

  • Develop and execute shelf-life testing protocols (microbiological, chemical, sensory, and physical).
  • Analyze product stability under various storage and distribution conditions.
  • Identify key factors affecting shelf life and recommend clean-label preservation strategies.
  • Collaborate with R&D, QA, and production teams to optimize formulations and packaging.
  • Interpret results, prepare technical reports, and communicate findings to internal teams and customers.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • Experience in shelf-life testing, quality assurance, or food stability studies.
  • Strong knowledge of food microbiology, chemistry, and packaging science.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and effective communication skills.
