TYPES OF SOLUTIONS
At Handary we offer a great assortment of product lines. Our solutions have distinct physical properties and functions; from food antimicrobials, to antioxidants, protective cultures, shelf life extenders and stabilizers. All these solutions were built upon the keystone of innovation. Our passion for adding value to our products in a sustainable but also unique way is depicted in our history; a history of groundbreaking solutions that raise more and more the standards of the industry.
WHERE WE STARTED
Handary was the first company back in 2010, to introduce vegetal-sourced Nisin from exclusively renewable non-GMO vegetal sources, without any allergens. The product was globally acknowledged for its pioneering concept and its effectiveness and was honored with the US IFT Innovation Award. Ever since the product has been further elaborated to reach the highest quality standards. In 2012 at Handary we developed a production method to remove all Nisin impurities. The result of the process was an ultrapure antibacterial solution which combats both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria in a variety of food and non-food products. Just a year after, we introduced our clear, highly effective pure nisin solution, white NisinA that was awarded with the “FiE Excellence Award Finalist”.
Aside from the products and solutions which has been rewarded in different exhibition worldwide, we developed some unique products qui create some added value and differentiation. For example our microbial and bean sourced lysozyme is a novelty in this field. In addition to the traditional egg-white Lysozyme, we have developed alternatives based on bacterial and bean seeds fermentation to avoid animal sourced products and allergen issues. We also designed a new non-animal source chitosanextracted from mushroom with water soluble criteria, specially created for the drinks and beverages industry.
