ε-polylysine in EploylyTM is a small polypeptide of the essential amino acid L-lysine that is produced by bacterial fermentation from Streptomyces strains. Its importance is due to its antimicrobial effect against yeast, fungi and gram+/- bacteria. ε-polylysine has been approval for food use as an antimicrobial preservative in US, Japan and South Korea.  

 

At Handary, ε-polylysine concentration is range available 50-100%. It is available in both powder and liquid form which makes them suitable for versatile applications in food, nutraceutical and cosmetic industry.

 

Epolyly-H®  is a natural antimicrobial based on min.95% ε-polylysine produced by bacterial fermentation using “Streptomyces strains”. 

 

Epolyly-L® is natural food protectant based on 50% ε-polylysine and blended with salt, it is specially designed to inhibit yeast, fungi, G+/- bacterial spices for various foods.
